31 May 2026 – In conjunction with World No Tobacco Day, UKM Specialist Centre proudly supports the Ministry of Health Malaysia’s vision towards a Smoke Free Malaysia.
As part of this meaningful initiative, UKMSC organised an awareness activity featuring a public pledge wall, where staff and visitors pledged their commitment towards living a healthier, tobacco-free lifestyle. Participants also shared words of encouragement, personal messages, and aspirations on a wishing wall through colourful sticky notes, creating a collective reminder that every small step towards quitting smoking matters.
Adding to the engagement, a Polaroid photo opportunity booth was set up to encourage participants to capture and commemorate their support for a smoke-free future. The activity not only fostered awareness but also created a positive and interactive environment that encouraged conversations on healthier living and wellbeing.
At UKMSC, we believe that prevention is just as important as treatment. Through continuous education and community-driven initiatives, we remain committed to promoting healthier lifestyles and empowering individuals to make informed choices for themselves and their loved ones.
Together, let us continue building a healthier, cleaner, and tobacco-free Malaysia — because every breath matters.
