19 April 2026 – The 15th Silent Knight International Karate Cup 2026 was successfully held from 17 to 19 April 2026 at Stadium Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur. The opening ceremony was officiated by YDH Dato’ Mohd Azani bin Omar, Deputy Chief of Police Kuala Lumpur, and was also attended by:

1. Dato’ Hanshi Dr. T. Ponnaiah, Founder and Grand Master, Hayashi-Ha Karate Malaysia

2. Mr. Sabran bin Abd Bahar, Director, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Youth and Sports Department

3. Ms. Lidyawati binti Hamzah, Deputy Director, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Youth and Sports Department

4. Associate Professor Dato’ Dr. Badrul Akmal Hisham Md. Yusoff, Medical Director, UKM Specialist Centre

UKM Specialist Centre (UKMSC) also played a key role as the Medical Response Team, bringing strong expertise in sports medicine. Supported by a team of experienced specialists in sports injury management, rehabilitation, and athlete performance care, UKMSC ensured that all participants had access to timely, accurate, and effective treatment throughout the tournament.

This approach went beyond emergency care, encompassing comprehensive clinical assessments and recovery advice to support the overall well-being and performance of the athletes.
