Registration / Admission
Please remember to bring the following to ensure a smooth and hassle free registration / admission process
- MyKad / Passport
- Health insurance card / Guarantee letter from your Company or Insurance company
- A doctor’s referral letter (if you are referred by your GP/family doctor)
- Past or present medical records, xray films or lab results (if any)
Alternatively, to pre register, we would like to encourage you to complete our Registration Form and fax back to us at 03 – 9172 4591 or 03 -9171 2837. You may also bring the completed form on the day of appointment.

Daily : 8.00am – 10.00pm
We appreciate the our patients’ visitors, be it their family or friends to our hospital. However, kindly comply with our Doctors’ and Nurses’ requests should they require the patient to be treated in private.
Paediatric and Senior Patients
For our paediatric and senior patients, it is highly encouraged that there is an accompanying person with the patient at all times.
UKMSC is NOT responsible for providing private nursing care. The patient is responsible for such arrangement and payment of fees directly. Should the patient wishes to engage a private nurse, the nurse must be a registered nurse with the Malaysian Nursing Board and holds a valid APC. Prior to any further arrangement, the private nurse must obtained clearance from the Hospital.
Complimentary basic toiletries will be provided. However you are required to bring your own personal toiletries and reading materials for your comfort and convenience.
A safe is provided in each room for your convenience. However, please be reminded not to keep cash, jewellery or valuables during your stay at UKMSC as the hospital management is not responsible for any losses.
Any property kept in the Hospital safe shall be at the patient’s own risk.
Personal Food and Drinks
In the best interest of your health and comfort of others, please refrain from encouraging your family, relatives, friends or visitors in bringing food with strong odor.
Non Smoking Policy
UKM Specialist Centre is strictly a “NO SMOKING” area. In compliance with the Ministry of Health regulations’ smoking in and within hospital compound is prohibited. A penalty for non-compliance may be imposed.
